Then AFTER I cleared Irythill up-to the Church of Yorshka bonfire I homeward bone'd back to the Shrine and told Greirat he is good to go. So according to the Fextralife wiki, some people believe it is possible to save Greirat from his wacky adventures in Lothric Castle. The theory is that this can be done in NG+ if you give Seigward the armor he gave you in NG, and never buy the armor from Patches.After all, Greirat ashes state that he didn't steal out of greed, but rather to help the needy.
